Mike Kennedy is a Philadelphia based guitarist, composer, producer and music educator. Over the last 20 years, Mike’s performance schedule has covered much of the East Coast, California,Texas, Florida and Ohio. His experiences include performances with commercially known international pop artists, such as Lou Rawls, Michael Feinstein, Bernadette Peters, Peter Nero and The Philly Pops and Elton John and The Midtown Men. Mike has also performed with renowned Philadelphia Jazz musicians, such as Larry McKenna, Bootsie Barnes and John Swana. In addition to composing, performing and producing his own albums, Mike is a sought after composer and freelance producer who has worked on numerous albums and projects in various musical genres, ranging from Bluegrass to Pop.

In addition to his regular performance schedule, Mike is the Chairperson of the Jazz Guitar Department at The University of The Arts, College of Performing Arts in Philadelphia, Pa.
